Position Title:
Server

Position Reports to:
Restaurant General Manager/ Supervisor
Wage Range: $16.50 + Tips
This position is not housing eligible
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Set up for daily service including dishware, glassware, silverware, linens and other amenities.
- Clean equipment and serving utensils, as well as maintaining clean tables and server stations.
- Establish pre-function side work to be performed and make sure all equipment is accounted for and in good condition.
- Use and understand Points of Sale.
- Serve and bus courses in a timely manner, checking in with your tables often.
- Determine when a guest should not be served additional alcoholic beverages.
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management.
- Assist in resetting tables during and after service.
- Attend all staff meetings as required by management.
- Abide by all Crystal Mountain employment guidelines.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Must hold a valid M.A.S.T. Class 12 or 13 Permit (Washington state serving license)
- Must hold a valid Washington Food Worker Card (Health & Food Safety)
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in Food and Beverage
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation.
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 30 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
- Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
