At VSP Vision, we're on a mission to help people see every possibility-and we do that through our strategic business pillars that work together to connect nearly 90 million patients and their health data to network doctors in a variety of settings across the globe. You will join the Workplace Desktop Support team responsible for Workplace /Desktop Support delivery.

As the Workplace / Desktop Support Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to partner with experts and support a dynamic team across its primary functions. You will have the unique opportunity to gain a broad range of experience in the many elements that contribute to the daily operations of a multi-faceted enterprise and develop critical business competencies through various tasks. During this internship, you may assist with the following duties:

  • Providing Level 2 support to end users, remotely assisting them with desktop hardware and software issues
  • Assist users during Windows 11 upgrade project
  • Providing feedback to engineers on findings during Windows 11 troubleshooting
  • Assist Windows 11 PM with coordination and tracking

Preferred Skills:

  • Troubleshooting skills with Windows PC
  • Troubleshooting skills with Mac devices (nice to have, not required)
  • Able to perform administrative functions, documenting incidents and requests in ServiceNow

Qualities of the ideal candidate:

  • Self-directed, able to manage incident and request tickets and resolve them independently
  • Good communication and customer skills
  • Good teamwork skills, willing to ask for help if needed

Job-Related Requirements:

  • Facilities to work remotely, including private or semi-private workspace
  • Access to high-speed internet
  • Technology will be provided

Education Level: 3rd or 4th year college

Degree Target: Computer Science, Computer engineering, MIS

Program Dates: June 2nd to Aug 8th (You must be able to work the full 10 weeks)

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Salary Ranges: $26.50 - $36.50
