Stony Brook University: Health Sciences: School of Nursing Location Stony Brook, New York Open Date Oct 29, 2024 Deadline Nov 29, 2024 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description The School of Nursing at Stony Brook University invites/seeks applications for (1) full-time tenured/tenure-track position from individuals who are passionate researchers, engaged faculty, and experts in their field. The selected candidate will be expected to collaboratively work toward building research excellence. Applicants themselves must be an accomplished researcher and have a demonstrated track record of extramurally funded research as well as a record of mentorship. Active research funding transferable to the Stony Brook University School of Nursing is required. At the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, applicants will be able to demonstrate a successful history of obtaining funding to support independent programs of research. Associate Professor or Professor candidates should also be prepared to mentor junior faculty. All candidates should be prepared to mentor doctoral students, be committed to fostering diversity and inclusion, facilitate collaborative interdisciplinary research, and teach at the undergraduate/graduate levels. Applicants with federally funded programs of research will receive reduced teaching loads relative to grant effort. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
