(External Hires) A talent acquisition caregiver will provide more details about the sign on bonus during the interview process. I. Major Responsibilities: 1. Assist with all aspects of patient clinic visit includes: rooming patients, performing intake assessment with appropriate medical record documentation, preparation of patient for clinician evaluation, dressing changes, suture/ staple removal as directed. II. Position Qualifications: License/Certification/Education: 2. One of the following is required upon hire or transfer: 3. Certified with the National Board of Orthopedic Technologists (NBCOT) or registered with the American Society of Orthopedic Professionals (ASOP). If not credentialed as a Medical Assistant, all employees must obtain a Medical Assistant credential within 6 months of hire or transfer date. All employees must maintain the credential. Experience/Skills: Preferred: Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
