Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Operations, the Practice Manager is responsible for the management and operations of the Internal Medicine practice in Hillcrest in accordance with federal, local, and internal standards, policies and regulations. This includes, but not limited to, daily clinic operations, fiscal management, recruitment, onboarding, training, development and retention of staff, program planning and/or external marketing activities to ensure delivery of exceptional quality care and experience to all patients and caregivers of the practice. This position will resolve escalated issues and serves as a resource in areas under supervision. Oversight of administrative areas such as practice revenue management, billing systems and procedures, facilities and safety procedures, registration, new patient coordination, scheduling, medical records storage and maintenance, and insurance authorizations. Leads and/or participates in developing quality improvement programs and ensures effective implementation and monitoring to meet or exceed organizational, divisional or departmental goals. Evaluates and ensures resolution to incident reports across a broad range of issues, such as privacy, safety, or customer service. Will supervise patient support staff such as patient service representatives, medical assistants, LVNs, and RNs. Management of clinicians will be in partnership with the Clinic Medical Director and includes participation in recruitment, onboarding and personnel management. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $85,400 - $156,800 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $40.90 - $75.10 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
