Job Description:

The Entegris six-month co-op program provides students with an in-depth and extensive work experience. Our co-ops are fully integrated into the team and work on projects and assignments with real business impact, giving our students an edge over their peers.

The Role:
Our site in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate engineering challenges in order to seek out creative and innovative solutions using fresh perspective.

  • Design and develop parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.

  • Create Engineering drawings using SolidWorks.

  • Develop Bills of Materials for associated assemblies.

What We Seek:

  • Student studying Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

  • Experienced in SolidWorks

  • Familiar with CFD/FEA or similar through coursework or relevant experience

  • Possesses excellent analytical skills

  • Has relevant design experience from other internships or school projects

  • Works well with team members, communicates effectively

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

* Mechanical Engineering or related field - B.S./M.S. expected 2025-2027

Eligibility:

  • Must be a currently enrolled student

  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January 2025-June 2025

  • Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program

  • Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.

Compensation Range: $23.50-$33
