Material Quality Engineer Co-Op

Job Description:

The Entegris six-month co-op program provides students with an in-depth and extensive work experience. Our co-ops are fully integrated into the team and work on projects and assignments with real business impact, giving our students an edge over their peers.

The Role:
Our site in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Material Quality Engineer to join our team for the Spring 20 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

What You'll Do:

  • Execute raw material change qualifications

  • Trend review of incoming raw material data

  • Coordinate quality investigations related to raw materials with cross-functional teams as needed

  • Build relationships with suppliers to implement corrective actions or continuous improvements benefiting the profitability of the Entegris business

What We Seek:
Bachelors in Engineering or Chemistry

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience with data

  • Openness to learning analysis techniques and/or statistical tools

  • Flexible, persistent, and a good attitude

  • Good communicator

  • Self-sufficient within a team

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
Chemical, Material, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry - graduating in Spring 2025 or later

Eligibility:

  • Must be a currently enrolled student

  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January 2025-June 2025

  • Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program

  • Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.

Compensation Range: $23.50-$33
