Bedford, MA Full time REQ-7086 Job Title: Operations and Process Engineering Co-OpJob Description: Operations and Process Engineering Co-Op - Spring 2025Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue the mission.The Role:Our site in Bedford is seeking a/an Operations and Process Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. This role will aid the process engineer in driving process improvements, maintaining SOPs and training, and supporting the day to day troubleshooting and work on the line. Typical improvement efforts will improve quality, drive down cost and/or increase output. What You'll Do: * Develop plan for updating SOPs and implementing training for all operators * Data mining and analysis in Minitab * Make conclusions recommendations based on data analysis * Perform yield analysis * Participate in Gemba walks and look for lean and safety improvements * Perform membrane characterization testingWhat We Seek: * Data-driven and hands-on approach * Proficient in Excel. * Ability to complete tasks in timely manner * Working towards a degree in chemical, mechanical, industrial or similar engineeringOutstanding Candidates Will Have: * Knowledge of Minitab or willingness to learn * Curiosity, asking questions, and providing your input to the team * Ability to drive tasks independently and work in a team environmentDesired Major(s) & Graduation Year: * Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or other engineering degreeWhat We OfferAt Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
