Job Details Job Location PlayCore Southern Fulfillment Center - Fort Payne, AL Travel Percentage None Job Shift Day Shift Job Category Manufacturing Summary Assist the supervisor with technical issues that occur in the area, mold tooling issues that affect production and quality, manage required mold work and prebuild requirements, be involved with design and pattern reviews, lead safety training and address safety issues, engage employees in search for continuous improvement ideas and assist in the implementation of the improvement ideas. Also desire willingness to be involved with production activities assisting supervisor/assistant supervisor as needed directing workflow and assisting with daily production work needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Promotes the Company's mission and values-based culture through monitoring and adjusting the flow of product through the Rotomold processes Safety: Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Will be responsible for handling quality issues and communicate between customer service and quality. Monitor progress and report workflow issues with manufactured parts Be able to look for and identify safety issues, correct if possible and report the findings to supervisor and/or management Review and supply corrective actions to CARs (Corrective Action Request) in a timely manner to resolve issues Be able and willing to attend training Assist in training new employees on equipment and processes Participate and provide technical feedback during design reviews Be willing to work with all groups (internally and externally), keeping end customer product in mind, and be able to maintain professionalism at all times Be willing to learn and fill in as needed to perform Rotomold production duties to direct employees Attend daily manufacturing report out meeting and supply details to relevant issues Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor. Travel Minimal day travel Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Reasoning Ability Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge in Excel, Word, LMS and Report Manager.
