This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Americus, GA with Signify. Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

• Work with the Manufacturing Engineer improving material flow; redesigning assembly cells

• Design jigs and fixtures

• Participate in Kaizen events

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

• A current engineering student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering

• Experience with Solidworks and/or 3D Printing

• Understanding of continuous improvement; lean manufacturing

• Experience designing jigs and fixtures

• Knowledge of environmental, safety and quality regulations

Pay range for this role is $23 to $28 per hour based on year of study
