The New Graduate RN Transition Program is a special orientation program for the new nurse wishing to gain nursing skills through a combination of both classroom learning andhands-on clinical training. The program is designed to support the nurse's transition to the acute care setting through precepted experiences.

Members of the New Graduate Nurse Residency will participate in a year-long program structured by Vizient/AACN, which includes once a month classroom time with your cohort.

Emerson Hospital runs New Graduate Nurse Residency Programs twice a year- winter and summer.

Our next new graduate nurse residency program will begin February 4, 2025. Interviews will begin in November2024.
