What We Do Typically found in a branch/office setting where the assistant is providing support to Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to escrow closings. May provide general support for a team, or partner with an escrow officer. Primarily focused on residential transactions.

Job Level Summary:
*NOTE: This level pertains to leading Escrow Assistants, not an Escrow Branch or Escrow Officers. If the incumbent has oversight of workflow and resolving escalated issues with EO's, then please refer to the Escrow Branch Team Lead Job Profile (J00258)
*Regarded as subject matter expert as employee gains broad experience and mastery of skills.
*Typically, does not have supervisory responsibility but identified as having emerging leader skills.
*Assists in scheduling and coordinating team activities
*Troubleshoots and guides others on wide variety of complex problems and identifies solutions within broad application and functional

What You'll Do

  • Job may exist in some but not all branches, depending on size and organization structure.
  • Generally, performs work like those supervised. Provides work direction for other escrow assistants or production type roles.
  • Seen as the subject matter expert
  • Performs wide range of administrative support duties requiring broad experience, skill and knowledge of organization, policies and practices. Resolves a wide range of inquiries.
  • Creates and maintains files, records, reports
  • Responds to inquiries and gathers information to resolve issues
  • Communicates information and prepares documentation
  • May interpret reports, following established practices and policies
  • Trains / provides ongoing guidance to less experienced team members

Salary Range: $23.83 - $39.72 Hourly

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
