Director of Pharmacy - Full Time The Menninger Clinic Houston, TX As a full-time, exemptCPS Solutions, LLCDirector of Pharmacy, you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed-upon programs with assistance from a full support team. Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 40 hours a week, primarily daytime hours. Starting Pay: $160,000 to $170,000 annually with bonus, based on experience. About the Facility: The Menninger Clinic is 120 bed a Joint Commission accredited behavioral health facility located in Houston, TX. The Menninger Clinic has nearly 100 years of experience diagnosing and treating adults and adolescents with mental illness. Highly trained teams of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and more provide a supportive, healing environment along with evidence-based treatments that are effective and programs that strengthen skills for making positive life changes. Menninger is a private teaching hospital of Baylor College of Medicine and is a member institution in the Texas Medical Center. CPS has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS. About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 7:00PM and Saturday, Sunday and Holidays from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. This facility utilizes Cerner EMR, and Omnicell dispensing cabinets. Required Qualifications: BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy Texas Pharmacist licensure in good standing 3 to 5 years of management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications and involvement with Professional organizations Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff Hospital Requirements TB Test - Proof of negative TB test within the last 12 months (PPD, QFT, or CXR) (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or a blood titer proving immunity Varicella - 2 document doses or a blood titer proving immunity Hep B3 Series (or declination) (Flu) Influenza - required for hire between Oct 1st and April 30th COVID Vaccine Benefits: All employees enjoy a competitive salary, eligibility to participate in the 401(k) savings plan with a match.
