ATI is seeking to hire a Plant Office Manager to support our Specialty Rolled Products business unit. This role will be based at our Washington Operations in Washington, PA.

The Operations Administrator is responsible for the daily safety, administrative, and operational functions for the hourly and salary groups, including the overall employee scheduling needs for the department in accordance with collective bargaining agreement policies.

Essential Functions



  • Coordinate the placement and scheduling of both salary and hourly employees. May be responsible for internal testing procedures of hourly personnel working closely with Labor Relations and plant management.
  • Handle problems and/or questions regarding department issues and be able to direct issues to appropriate personnel. Keep department management abreast of all issues.
  • Create and coordinate data bases and spreadsheets for required departmental reporting to include safety reporting, schedules, vacation logs, operations reports, salary premium pay, man hour reporting, etc.
  • Coordinate and schedule weekly and monthly safety meetings/trainings.
  • Distribute weekly safety communications and maintain Safety Observation database.
  • Assist hourly employees with payroll related questions.
  • Monitor Skills Verification for hourly employees and new hires.
  • Schedule annual physicals, order supplies, track inventory.



Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • 3 years Administrative or Office Manager experience preferably in a manufacturing environment



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



  • Proficient typing and data entry skills
  • Computer skills including proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Software Suite particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (may required Access), and applicable company related systems such as Kronos
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers at all levels
  • Be motivated, dependable with excellent organization skills
  • Ability to compile, analyze, and finalize data for reporting effectively
  • Ability to handle confidential information and prioritize workload meeting all deadlines in a timely manner
