We are currently looking for two paralegals to join a legal team that is very successful in the Sheboygan County area!

As a Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal team by performing a variety of legal tasks. You will work closely with attorneys to conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and assist with case management.

Responsibilities:

  • Legal Research:
    • Conduct in-depth legal research using various legal databases and resources.
    • Analyze and summarize complex legal information.
    • Identify relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
  • Document Preparation:
    • Draft a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and discovery requests.
    • Review and edit legal documents for accuracy and clarity.
    • Organize and maintain electronic and physical files.
  • Case Management:
    • Assist with case organization and management, including scheduling hearings, depositions, and meetings.
    • Prepare for trials and hearings by organizing exhibits and witness testimony.
    • Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Client Communication:
    • Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress.
    • Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing email.
    • Assist with billing and invoicing.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research databases and software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in personal injury, employment and estate law would be preferred
