Summary:



Ensures that all outgoing jobs have been correctly processed and meet all industry and company standards for optics and cosmetics, utilizing automated and manual processes as appropriate. Jobs not meeting standards are documented on reprocessing form and forwarded to the appropriate section for disposition.



Pay Class and Pay




Pay Class: Full Time

Pay: $18.10 - $19.16 per hour




Essential Responsibilities:



Prioritize tray processing flow as dictated by tray color and daily work ticket color. Maintain production standards as assigned by management.

Verify that all areas outlined on the work ticket checklist are within standards for uncut and finished eyewear, with or without AR coating.

Validate Visionworks and ANSI Prescription Tolerance and Standards compliance utilizing lens analyzer.

Properly identify and analyze errors creating breakage rejects at the final inspection station. Enter breakage for reprocessing as required.

Clean lens to ensure they meet cosmetic standards and place lens into Ultrasonic Basket.

Document work order with wash completion, basket number and lens identifying location then attach paperwork to the clipboard.

Inspect lens analyzer and other station equipment for proper operation. Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility.

Ability to communicate and escalate with peers and principles.

Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), as well as regulations promoting a safe and healthy work place environment. Conduct process check verification for variables data based on Manufacturing Process Control Plan and record results digitally.

Scan and wrap uncut jobs to be sent to stores. Place lenses into appropriate trays for jobs that are to be forwarded to the Finish section for further processing. Once finished eyewear is determined to meet all standards, scan, wrap and place into bins for shipment to store.

Enter production data on production boards and perform section start and end counts as required



Education:



* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred



Experience & Background:



One (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred

ABO certifications preferred

ASQ certification preferred

Microsoft Excel and Word



Language Skills:



Ability to read English in order to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.



Mathematical Skills:



General mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division



Reasoning Ability



Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions

General problem solving abilities

Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
