Process Job Description

Job Title: Team Lead Crating/Shipping/Warehouse
Location: Marshfield, MO
Function: MANUF - Marshfield Plant
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Shift: 1st shift - 5am to 3:30pm
Shift: Monday thru Thursday 4/10, overtime Fridays & Saturdays as necessary
Benefits: Prorated 80 hours of vacation and 24 hours sick time, 10 paid holidays, STD, LTD, 401k match, medical/RX, dental, vison, life insurance and more

Job Output:
This employee is responsible for ensuring and maintaining all crating, shipping & warehouse standards, ensuring work schedules are accomplished and manpower is scheduled accordingly. Promotes a safe working environment. Supports and ensures company policies are followed. Mentors and coaches' employees on aspect of crating, shipping and warehouse safety, quality, cost, delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
* Drive a fork truck and maintain fork truck trainer credentials for yourself.
* Coordinate the daily operations regarding crating, shipping/receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and task management.
* Conduct meetings with staff to give daily direction.
* Conduct employee interviews.
* Supervise, train, coach, and motivate crating, shipping and warehouse teams.
* Understand completely, the department supervisor role, duties and responsibilities, as you are the backup for this role in the absence of the supervisor.
* Communicate with Production team to ensure crating, shipping and warehouse teams are accurate and efficient with material handling.
* Ensure that #1 priority after safety, is minimal wait times for movement of work center materials.
* Teach and ensure established safety standards are followed.
* Utilize SAP for shipping, inventory management, goods issues, and good receipts.
* Must clean and organize own area at the end of every shift.
* Must communicate with direct reports, give recognition, coach, and give direction.
* Must communicate with the Safety department to ensure all safety and OSHA 1910 standards are followed.
* Must communicate with Human Resources to ensure all legal/compliance standards are followed.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct the work activities of 10-20 employees.

This position is not exposed to adverse environmental conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This role must be able to operate a forklift. PPE as required.

* Preferred: CPR/AED/1st Aid, OSHA 10 Hour, Supervisor Certification
