Business Process Consultant

Be part of our exciting team supporting a robust, world-wide communications network, providing office automation packages; document and information management tools; and collaboration, voice, and video tools in a secure, flexible, distributed architecture supporting a classified DoD IT system. Peraton is seeking a Business Process Consultant to provide support for business and operational process change to modernize the enterprise. Responsibilities include:

Provides process engineering technical support expertise to production activities and plant projects to improve unit operations.
• Analyzes processes and re-engineering alternatives, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
• Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams.
• Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts, such as Six Sigma, ISO 9004.
• Demonstrates experience in consulting with a specialization in business and operational process change.
• Performs supply chain analyses and develops related recommendations.
• Uses analyses to develop recommended operational improvements, lowering costs and improving customer service.
• Has specialized experience in modeling business processes and requirements (using structured tools and techniques, i.e., use-case scenarios) and integrating them with data and system architectural models and requirements.

Required:

• Requires a min 8 years with BS/BA, Min 6 years with MS/MA, Min 3 years with PhD; 4 years additional experience can be considered in lieu of degree
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required
• Proven experience in modeling business processes and requirements (using structured tools and techniques, i.e. use-case scenarios) and integrating them with data and system architectural models and requirements.
• Experience with ITIL 4 framework and/or ITIL 4 Foundations desired, Project Management, and Security policies, procedures and processes
• Demonstrated experience in consulting with a specialization in business and operational process change.

Desired:

• Desired Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) training or certification to drive continuous improvement
