As part of the Security function responding directly to the AWPC Security manager, the Cyber Security specialist position act as local expertise on security topics by supporting local ICT; collaborate to develop a company-wide security strategy and program to protect information.
The Cyber Security Specialist provides specialist contributions to protect business information by monitoring and supporting, in coordination with AWPC Security Manager, the correct implementation and use of cyber security requirements, procedures, policies and cyber security services.
A Cyber Security Specialist's responsibilities include using their skills to detect insecure features and malicious activities within our networks and infrastructure.

Supports and audit the coordination of AWPC security plans' definition and audits for specific business initiative, and/or contractual cyber security clauses (i.e. NIST, FAR, DFAR, etc.) Monitors the proper application of centrally defined cyber security baselines and methodologies in coordination with Leonardo Cyber & Information Security (CI&S), any potential exceptions. In addition, support the CI&S on incident response procedures. |

Show a prepositive attitude, resilience, availability, and proactivity. Strong horizontal ability to relate with main stakeholders (AWPC, LDO, External personnel), under the direction of AWPC Security manager. Other Cyber Security and infrastructure duties as assigned. |

Determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits and penetration testing in strict collaboration with LDO corporate Security and LDO Corporate IT Security. |

Ensure the connection to the central Leonardo SIEM and work with Cyber Security Corporate team in order to tune and analyze reports to be presented to AWPC Security. |

Collaborate in ensuring Corporate Vulnerability scan execution as well as other required remediation and ensures that vulnerability mitigation efforts are facilitated across the company and/or business initiative. |

Prepare and execute Cyber Security Awareness and Training to AWPC employees. |

- Qualifications for Position:
A. Education
BA in Information Systems or equivalent |
B. Experience
- Proven work experience as a Cyber Security Specialist or IT Security specialist. - Excellent understanding of information security concepts, protocols, industry best practices and strategies. - Extensive and broad Cyber Security experience across delivery and strategy disciplines; - Advanced knowledge in information security/cyber security, risk management, end point and server technologies, network management/architecture, intrusion detection and prevention systems, vulnerability/pen testing management, and patch management systems. - Knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001 + DFAR/NIST) |
