Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a is searching for a Logistics Supervisor to be based out of Greenfield, IN OSM Facility. Reporting to Plant Manager, this person will be responsible for the supervision, coordination and planning of all activity in the distribution center facility including the timing and location for carriers to be loaded and unloaded.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years distribution experience required.

What you'll do:



  • Mark certain that all logistics activities are managed to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Innovation goals.
  • Monitor shipping schedule activity to proactively adjust the dock schedule when needed.
  • Ensure tasks are performed according to standard operating procedures and regulations.
  • Properly record all dock transactions.
  • Collaborate with various personnel including safety, customer service and global logistics to ensure that safety and all other goals are met.

  • All other duties as assigned


What you'll bring:



  • High School diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years distribution experience required.
  • Knowledge of distribution center management in areas such as bulk, pick pack, LTL, TL, will calls and containerized shipments.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills required with JDE experience preferred.
  • Detail oriented team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer focus.


Within 3 months, you'll:



  • Complete your Atkore immersion program.
  • Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategy
  • Gain an understanding of your team.


Within 6 months, you'll:



  • Support various departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Hone your skills as it relates to the tools and systems you use in your daily role
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities related to Plant Operations


Within 12 months, you'll:



  • Manage all activity within the distribution process.
