About the Role:
The Senior Field Development Manager facilitates the execution of the overall assigned markets, and their development plan providing objective thought as the plan evolves cross functionally. They will be overseeing a group of Field Development managers for North American and ensure that the team is meeting their goals and various KPIs, net restaurant growth, mitigating closures, verifying overall market plans regarding new site development, helping to lead the team cross functionality between development and the field.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Facilitates execution of multiple markets' Development plans with the goal of building market share. Educate and guide FDMs regarding the benefits of market optimization. Provide objective voice regarding development plan decisions. Coach and Train FDMs with their market specific goals. Identify candidates for area Development Agreements and timeframes.
- Optimal Locations across SMO markets: Evaluate opportunities to improve existing asset base through site selection, relocations, and remodels. Develop working relationships with larger Real Estate Brokers.
- Coach and train the FDMs to be proactive with mitigating closures and starting the process of relocations or transfers.
- Travel is required to meet with team members, Franchise Owners and cross functional team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, real estate development or related field required.
- Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) certification a plus.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a minimum of 3 years supervisory. QSR experience preferred.
- Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivating, and have excellent time management and communication skills, good relationship building skills, flexible and detail oriented.
- Lead a high-performing field development team.
- Brokerage relationship management and negotiation.
- Review and approve financial assessments to ensure franchisee profitibility
- Ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders and experience leading cross functional decision making.
- Knowledge of franchise and licensing law, regulations and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of Strategic Planning, Sales Analysis, Consumer Insights and Brand.
- Must live within close proximity to a major airport.
- Travel Requirement: up to 50% overnight
