Cloud Production Switcher Demo Artist is needed for a contract opportunity with our Entertainment client.

Job Details

Duration: 6 months initial contract potential conversion to full time
Location: Fully Remote but may require travel
Pay rate: $40.16 hourly max rate
Schedule: Part Time hours and periodic as needed basis

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Demonstration:
    • Develop, refine, and deliver compelling live and recorded demonstrations of our cloud production switcher, showcasing its capabilities in real-world scenarios.
    • Customize demo content to align with audience needs, including broadcasters, live-streaming professionals, event production teams, and virtual content creators.


  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide in-depth insights into cloud-based production workflows, discussing features like video switching, live graphics, audio mixing, and multi-camera setups.
    • Troubleshoot live demonstrations, addressing potential connectivity and latency challenges specific to cloud-based operations.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the product management, marketing, and sales teams to align demo content with product features and enhancements.
    • Gather feedback from clients and stakeholders post-demo to provide input to the product and development teams, contributing to feature refinement and roadmap prioritization.


  • Training & Support:
    • Train internal teams and end-users on best practices for setting up and using cloud-based switcher technology.
    • Create tutorial videos, how-to guides, and other learning materials to support product adoption.


  • Event Participation:
    • Represent the company at trade shows, webinars, and industry events, performing live demos and answering technical questions.
    • Engage with potential clients in person and virtually, providing clear, accessible demonstrations and technical insights.




Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in live production, broadcasting, or media production, with a focus on technical roles such as switcher operator, technical director, or live video engineer.
    • Prior experience with cloud-based production tools, virtual production environments, and IP workflows is strongly preferred.


  • Skills:
    • Proficiency with production switchers, cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and IP-based video transport (e.g., NDI, SRT).
    • Strong understanding of audio, video, and graphics integration in live production environments.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.


  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Broadcast Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in the industry.


  • Other Requirements:
    • Willingness to travel for in-person demonstrations, events, and training sessions.
    • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate international clients and virtual events.





Estimated Min Rate: $36.00
Estimated Max Rate: $40.16
