This is a combined posting for Associate Respiratory Care Practitioner, Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner & Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications. If you have the qualifications of any one of these two positions, we encourage you to apply.

The Associate Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. The Associate Respiratory Therapist should be a solid performer who is fully competent in all aspects of his/her job description.

The Senior Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles.

The LEAD Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the management of the pulmonary system through the administration of medication, ventilator management and pulmonary hygiene during stable and critical situations. Other job duties include performance of pulmonary functions, daily maintenance and QC of ABG machines and competency testing.

Associate Respiratory Care Practitioner

Shift details: Per diem, 0.01 FTE (0.4 working hours), day shift position (not eligible for hiring bonus)

Required qualifications:



  • Associate's Degree AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy or Bachelor's Degree AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
  • upon hire: Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
  • upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • CRT with less than 5 years experience, must obtain RRT within 6 months of hire; Or
  • 5 years CRT and no RRT requirement.


Associate Respiratory Care Practitioner, Salary Range : Min $ 26.28, Max: $ 41.59

Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner

Shift details: Per diem, 0.01 FTE (0.4 working hours), variable shift position (not eligible for hiring bonus)

Required qualifications:



  • Associate's Degree AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Or
  • Bachelor's Degree AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Upon hire: Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Within 90 days of hire National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
  • Within 90 days of hire National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
  • 4 years for RRT; Or
  • 15 years for CRT


Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner, Salary Range: Min: $ 31.36, Max: $ 49.65

Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner

Shift details: Full-time, 0.9 FTE (36 working hours), night shift position

Required qualifications:



  • Coursework/Training Graduate of Respiratory Care program.
  • upon hire: Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
  • upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
  • within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association.
  • Experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required for the LEAD role..


Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner, Salary Range: Min: $ 33.24, Max: $ 52.61
