Pharmacy Technician - Part-Time

As apart-time, non-exemptCPS Solutions, LLCPharmacy Technician,you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; and billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule:This position is scheduled to work 20 hours per week. This position will be required to cover shifts every other weekend
Starting Pay: $15-18 per hour, (Depending on related work experience)
About the Facility: Rockford Center is a 138-bed mental health facility located in Newark, DE, providing easy access to a full complement of inpatient and partial behavioral health programs for children and adolescents, adults, and older adults. Rockford is the only child inpatient behavioral health facility in DE, offers an experienced and tenured senior management team, and serves New Castle County and northern Maryland. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is openMonday through Friday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm; on Weekends 9:00 am-1:00 pm.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6+ months of experience in a hospital pharmacy is preferred (other relevant healthcare experience will be considered)
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communication skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements:
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- Covid-19 Vaccine (may be required)
- HepB3 Series(or declination)
- FBI Fingerprinting
