Lumos is looking for a full-time OSP Delivery Project Manager! If you are a OSP Delivery Project Manager who's excited for a fast-paced experience, ready to help us grow, and ready to recommend process changes that ensure we're harnessing our technology to the best of our ability while broadening our scope managing and overseeing technical projects in OSP/Construction. This position requires a combination of strong technical, business, leadership, and communication skills. The successful candidate will have project management job experience, as well as an understanding of task management, engineering and construction processes, budget monitoring, and reporting. The position requires an independent self-starter who needs minimum to no oversight. The OSP Project Manager will proactively engage with Lumos Management at the management Levels and above and work across Business Units and Support teams to assure internal and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions




  • Build and manage effective relationships with Business Units and Lumos personnel
  • Manage projects on market expansion, FPP, Special Projects and Cost reducing efforts
  • Support key initiatives identified by leadership as it relates to COR, Revenue increase and Densification that has been approved by the E-Team and or Board Level
  • Manage projects to ensure that life, functionality and growth requirements are met
  • Manage scope and mitigate risk across projects
  • Assist OSP Delivery with permitting related to markets assigned for Project Management


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required




  • Education: College Degree preferred
  • Experience: 10+ years' experience with project management required

    • Telecommunications industry experience desired
    • MS Office knowledge required, particularly Word, Excel, and Project
    • Knowledge and experience with telecommunications network technologies, protocols, and operations


  • Key Competencies:

    • Demonstrated ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects
    • Proven clear, informative, persuasive and collaborative verbal and written communication skills
    • Must have the ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Must exhibit honesty, integrity, and courtesy in all interactions
    • Must possess strong work ethic in supporting customer needs, responding promptly and consistently
