As a WIT Liaison, you will be a Subject Matter Expert with using Workforce data systems. Assist customers, staff and employers with trouble shooting and giving permissions for system use. Develop best practices and create Standard Operating Procedures.

Job Description
  • Serve as primary liaison and aide for trouble shooting Work in Texas system issues, granting accesses to employees as well as assisting customers and employers with troubleshooting data entry issues.
  • Communicate effectively and demonstrates proficiency in data analytic software use.
  • Assist in formulating and deploying methods for mitigating data entry, integrity, and collection issues.
  • Serve as an SME for data system enhancement and mentor/train other data analysts.
  • Assist in developing policies and procedures governing the appropriate use of data, as well as creates quality assurance protocols and reviews the work of other analysts.
  • Commit to continuous professional development.
  • Provide assistance to employers in establishing accounts, using the job matching system, and amending job posting information.
  • Facilitates customer and employee access to Workforce systems, which may include include Workforce Innovations Opportunity Act (WIOA), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (CHOICES / TANF), Child Care Services (CCS), Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA), Unemployment Benefits Services (UBS), and other programs and services
  • Guides staff regarding the resolution of difficult and complex problems
  • Coordinate, lead and provide assistance on special projects.
  • Work with customers to ensure tickets are appropriately assigned and issues are resolved timely. Effectively troubleshoot and work to resolve complex technical issues or coordinate with resources as necessary.
  • Create and/or maintain documentation including standard operating procedures. Documents technical troubleshooting efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of full-time experience in data analysis, research, compilation, and/or reporting work.

Each year (30 semester hours) of coursework in data science, business analytics, computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field may be substituted for one year of full-time experience in data analysis,research, compilation, and/or reporting work.

YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH:

- 1-2 years of experience in data analytic software applications, SQL or programming languages (e.g., Visual Studio Code, Python, etc.)

- Knowledge or experience using SPSS, R or other statistical programs

- Experience using Tableau, Data Visualization software, and Business Intelligence software

- Experience with TWC data systems and programs preferred but not mandatory

Extensive standing, sitting, computer, phone, and deskwork required; some kneeling and lifting of up to 10 pounds required; work primarily in a defined office environment with specified hours, although flexible hours including overtime may be required; interacts one on one and in groups with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds.

Up to 50% travel within Dallas County.

The position will be Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm.

Salary: $52,000.00 per year.
