Essential Job Functions:



  • Monitor Guests in recreational areas and provide constant surveillance of pool areas to ensure Guest safety.
  • Act as a first responder to emergency situations that occur in the Recreational Areas.
  • Enforce policies, rules and regulations of the Recreation locations.
  • Perform life saving techniques, C.P.R and first aid procedures in emergency situations.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time while monitoring the pool, lazy rizer and pier area.
  • Work in outdoor settings during various weather conditions.
  • Clear Waterpark and Pool area of used towels, lifejackets, and trash
  • Maintain and exchange used and clean towel bins.
  • Proactively address Guest needs by answering questions, giving directions and other information about the resort or surrounding areas.
  • Maintain overall upkeep of all cabanas.



Hotel Specific:



  • Working both indoors and outdoors. Outside in all weather conditions, including inclement weather.
  • Work in multiple outlets across the properties.



Physical Demands:



  • Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 10 lbs
  • Primarily standing for majority of shift



Qualifications:

Education:



  • High school diploma or its equivalent



Experience:



  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • 6 months of work experience as a Lifeguard - preferred
  • Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and kneeling
  • CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard certified.
