JOB SUMMARY

The Client Services Provider reports to the Program Director and are responsible for providing supervision and monitoring clients in Golden State Triage Center (residential program) for homeless adults.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Provide supervision and monitoring of facility operations.
  2. Assist program participants' access to basic needs (food, hygiene, shelter).
  3. Make written notes to document participant's activity.
  4. Document rounds, counts, and inspections on appropriate forms.
  5. Answer the telephone and the door/gate.
  6. Conduct Intakes.
  7. Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
  8. Document areas of concern on incident reporting documents.
  9. Conduct recreational and life skills activities for participants.
  10. Perform filing and other general office duties.
  11. Perform routine janitorial duties as needed.
  12. Conduct unit/ room turnovers between participants.
  13. Think and act quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
  14. Provide transportation support to participants as needed and directed.
  15. Physical presence at the program is required.


ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS



  1. High school diploma/GED required.
  2. Two (2) years' experience in related field preferred.
  3. Current certified training in emergency first aid procedures and CPR preferred.
  4. Demonstrated proficiency in reading and writing.
  5. Legibly, accurately and appropriately document communications, behaviors and routine facility events as they occur.
  6. Visually observe resident population.
  7. Perform perimeter and room checks.
  8. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, Zoom and other communication/meeting platforms.
  9. Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws. Agency insurer authorization is required.
  10. Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  11. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
