This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. This role will work closely with the Material Quality Engineering team to identify high impact raw materials and parts, use statistical analysis to identify trends, and develop a plan to improve quality and reduce scrap costs for the plant.What You'll Do: * Use statistical analysis to review data sets, look for correlations, and visualize trends * Identify alternate sources that improve upon the trends of incoming parts * Identify gaps in internal measurement and documentation processes to ensure proactive alert against downstream internal or external customer impactsWhat We Seek: * Background in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication or related Field * Pursuing advanced degree (Masters or PhD) or Senior graduating in 2025 * Competent in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelOutstanding Candidates Will Have: * Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions * Familiarity with CAD or Solidworks * Communicate effectively with team members * Use problem solving techniques to develop action plans * Self StarterDesired Major(s) & Graduation Year: * Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication or related Field * Pursuing advanced degree (Masters or PhD) any year of study or Undergraduate Senior graduating in 2025What We OfferAt Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
