The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Reporting to the Senior Director of Events, the Associate Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning and execution of a wide range of events, both internal and external, that enhance the reputation and community engagement of Columbia Business School (CBS). This position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end event lifecycle, from conceptualization and planning to execution and post-evaluation. In addition, the Associate Director also requires maintaining an understanding of event technologies, logistics, and trends to continuously improve event operations and outcomes. This role requires close collaboration with various internal departments to deliver high-quality, impactful event experiences that align with the strategic priorities of the School.
