Dean of Engineering Job Description
The University of Missouri College of Engineering is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Editor to join our Marketing and Communications team. In this role, the Senior Editor will be responsible for creating, editing and proofreading content across various platforms, including digital (web, social media) and print publications. This position uniquely blends the skills of a marketing copywriter with those of a research reporter, requiring the ability to simplify complex research into clear, accessible narratives that strategically promote the college. The Senior Editor will craft engaging stories that resonate with diverse audiences, including prospective students, alumni and industry partners. This storytelling will help highlight the college's impact and inspire key stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Senior Editor will provide strategic input and editorial guidance to colleagues, though this role does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $51,875- $62,000 per year Application Materials
