About the role

The Team Ambassador is responsible for production operations in certain areas of the plant, which includes Safety, Quality, Service, Cost and People Development. The role carries responsibility for assisting the Team Resource Manager to ensure department Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's) are achieved and improvement plans are in place to reach targets.

This role requires knowledge and experience of production management, cGMP/RB quality manual standards, team leadership, EHS application, continuous improvement tools and ensuring all appropriate resources are focused on the delivery of the departments KPI's

Your responsibilities

* Responsible for ensuring production operations are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with State and Federal regulations including our company policies.

* Follow Hazardous Waste, General Waste and Recycled Waste management and Disposal procedures. Supports Safety, Health and the Environment by complying with company policies and procedures regarding safety and employee conduct.

* Assist in supporting Quality One Change Controls and CAPA investigations on time and in full for department for deviations.

* Utilizing computer management systems such as Doforms, printing case labels, Vorne etc.

* Consistently delivers high focus on service and schedule adherence.

* Direct resource and tactical decisions to help improve plant equipment effectiveness and reduce waste within operations with a cost awareness of OEE and labor hours.

* Empowers associates to take ownership for their work processes, improvement plans and to be fully autonomous to ensure KPI targets are achieved.

* Accountable for break escalation to TRM to ensure line stability.

* Assist in production recording in JD Edwards database system

* Assist in production reporting

The experience we're looking for

* A High School Diploma.

* Demonstrable experience in production management, team leadership and continuous improvement tools.

* Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred..

* Strong background in safe work practices. Committed to safety.

* Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills in dynamic environment.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities within established deadlines.

* Strong customer service orientation.

* Excellent organizational skills.

* Effective analytical and problem-solving skills

* Strong personal leadership skills and the ability to lead others.

* Computer Literacy, especially with the Microsoft Office Suite products.

* Confident, clear communicator in verbal and written format.
