MTSI is looking for an Automated Software Test Engineer (Journeyman) in the Huntsville, AL area. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing units test and scripts that drive the automated testing efforts for the Flight Mission Simulator / Digital (FMS/D) program @ S3I.

• The selected candidate should be able to demonstrate experience and ability to automate testing from the low level (such as unit testing) to the high level (such as integration/functional testing) using a test framework such as Google Test (GTEST) or CXXTEST and Python scripting
• The select candidate needs to have strong C++ and GTK3 software development abilities
• The selected candidate should have a strong familiarity and understanding of Linux operating system and LINUX based automated test (not web based application).
• The selected candidate should be a Mid-Level Engineer in test automation with strong technical focus
• The selected candidate should have experience with various test automation tools and have the ability to decide on which tool is necessary to accomplish automated tests with the program
• This is a remote position. This task requires daily support in a closed environment.

• Active Full Secret Clearance Required
• Bachelors degree in software development, or related discipline
• 3+ years of test engineering experience
• Strong Linux Domain Knowledge
• Strong Test automation experience (Google Test Preferred)
• Exposure to c/c++/java automated test tool expereince

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• MATLAB experience
• Security + certification
• Experience in an Agile environment
• Experience with various test automation tools
