Rutgers School of Health Professions (
SHP) is seeking a Student Assistant (Research) (2) Vacancies to work in the Department of Rehabilitation & Movement Science.
The Student Assistant (Research) will assist with research lab activities including data reduction, analysis and manuscript preparation. Data reduction will include specific tasks such as reduction of calf raise data and qualitative analysis of frontal plane projection angles. Data analysis and assistance with manuscript preparation will be performed if time permits.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Student Assistant to enact with Faculty & Staff.
- Assist with setting up activities.
- Assist with Manuscript preparation.
- Perform other related duties.
- Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.

Physical Demands and Work Environment |
- The role is mainly sedentary; the candidate should have adequate visual and fine motor skills to review electronic charts and record data on a computer or tablet; the candidate should have adequate listening and note-taking skills and time management skills to meet the demands of the position. The candidate must have the ability to independently travel to and from the work sites.
- The research assistant will work on their own personal computer or on our lab computer where they will have access to the research files/applications through RedCap and Teams.
