Position Summary
The Social Media Manager will play a crucial role in defining and activating our social media strategy across Versiti, Inc., Versiti Blood Research Institute, and the Versiti Organ Procurement Organization (OPO). This position will be the driving force behind our social media presence, crafting compelling content that engages, educates, and activates our audience while supporting our mission to lead in blood health innovation and service. In this role, you will develop and implement an integrated content framework across our five geographic states, ensuring consistency and excellence in our social media efforts. You will also manage our centralized social media publishing platform, while training state level teammates to deliver best practice social media content and collaborating with the Growth Marketing/Digital Marketing team to provide a seamless digital experience.
Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Execution: o Define and activate the social media strategy for Versiti, Versiti Blood Research Institute, and the Versiti OPO. o Create (visual, multimedia and copy) and post engaging on-brand content across social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube, to increase visibility, engagement, and conversions. o Develop an integrated content framework tailored to our five geographic states and ensure alignment with overall brand messaging and goals. o Maintain a deep understanding of best practices, features and strategies for all social channels. o Research industry best practices and keep informed of market trends.
- Content Creation & Management: o Craft compelling digital content that highlights our mission, achievements, and initiatives, using graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or equivalent. o Capture and edit images and videos for social media to enhance engagement and storytelling. o Manage the centralized social media publishing platform, ensuring timely and effective content delivery. o Work closely with the Social Media Community Engagement Teammate to ensure a cohesive and engaging online presence. o Lead the development and improvement of social media processes and procedures in accordance with Versiti policies. o Ensure all Versiti social media programs and communications adhere to brand guidelines and voice.
- Training & Collaboration: o Train field marketers across states on best practices for social media content creation and strategy implementation. o Collaborate with peers in Growth Marketing/Digital Marketing to ensure a seamless digital experience across platforms and optimize our social media efforts.
- Analytics & Optimization: o Design and track KPIs, analyze performance with industry standard tools, and provide insights that optimize future campaign strategies. o Design and maintain digital dashboards and report on analytics and results to influence leadership actions and strategies. o Interpret social media analytics data to glean insights and inform content strategy and decision-making. o Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to enhance engagement, reach, and overall impact.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field required
Experience
- 4-6 years 4-6 years of experience in social media content creation and digital marketing required
- 1-3 years Strong portfolio demonstrating content creation skills and digital storytelling expertise preferred
- 1-3 years People leadership experience in recruiting, hiring, developing and engaging team members. preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strategic mindset with a willingness to innovate and push creative boundaries desired
- Thorough understanding of leading social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and more required
- Competent in copywriting and copyediting to create compelling and clear social media content required
- Fundamental understanding of SEO principles as they apply to websites and social media platforms required
- Proficiency in high end tools like Adobe Creative Suite or similar software, as well as user-friendly tools like Canva for content creation and editing preferred
- Adept at capturing and editing images and video to produce high-quality social media content preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences and team members preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of work required
