Job Description:

Holds a responsibility for facility upkeep and maintain production equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. Supports all Maintenance tasks related to preventive maintenance. Supports facility work-orders initiated by Maintenance Management, Project Engineering, or other departments. May include oversight of Janitorial staffing along with related duties.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Must be able to work independently and complete work orders in a professional and timely manner.
  2. Must have an excellent understanding of facility maintenance functions.
  3. Must be able to work well with others and communicate potential problems when conflicts exist.
  4. Must be able provide leadership during critical repair situations and direct people in a proficient and safe manner.
  5. Read and understand construction and machine blue prints, including machine drawings, building construction floor plans, P&ID diagrams, and electrical drawings.
  6. Individuals must have an understanding of DC, AC circuits and measuring techniques. Also provide troubleshooting methods and baseline rational of what procedures to follow and document described situations.
  7. Responsible for understanding the proper use of engineering and maintenance documentation, which is required under cGMPs. Examples include the Maintenance Work Order System, the Critical Change Request System, SOP documentation, Validation documentation, etc.
  8. Supervise Maintenance technician's pre-shutdown activities include setting up ILCs, populating rosters, scanning reference documents for courses, and recording completion of trainings in LMS.
  9. Maintain office supplies inventory for Maintenance, Engineering, Metrology, and Validations.
  10. Provide back up to all facility coordinators as needed.
  11. Other duties assigned

Qualifications:

  • Associates of Science or Vocational Training in Related Maintenance Field
  • 5-10 Years of Related Experience, Maintenance/Repair
  • Lead Experience
  • Pharmaceutical Experience (Working Maintenance Knowledge)
  • FDA Regulated Industry Experience
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Read and Understand Construction and Machine Blue Prints
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Manual Dexterity

Shift: Weekend Night Shift

  • Fri - Sunday & every other Thursday
  • 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $130,900 depending on experience. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibits outstanding performance over a period of time in the role

This position is eligible for a shift premium of $2.00 per hour worked between 3pm and 11pm, and $2.50 per hour worked between 11pm and 7:30am.
