The Opportunity: Avantor is looking for a EHS Analyst II- EHSS&S to join our Environmental Health and Safety, Security, and Sustainability (EHS3) group. The Analyst II will be responsible for insuring compliance with EHS3 related regulatory agency requirements which may include, but is not limited to OSHA, EPA, and DHS. This role will be a full-time position based out of our Suwanee, GA office. Depending on site responsibility, may require travel approximately 10-15% of the time. What we're looking for
How you will thrive and create an impact The Analyst II will prepare Avantor locations for emergencies, works to reduce the occurrence of safety, health, medical, environmental, and regulatory issues, and ensures the completion of EHS3 training as needed.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)
ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions) Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level. Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems. A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis. Minimal physical effort is required.
