Junior Intelligence Analyst As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active TS/SCI clearance. Support the Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC) as part of the Information Fusion Cell (IFC), working with Combatant and Major Commands to analyze and report intelligence and law enforcement information. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Junior Intelligence Analyst Responsibilities Include:
- Function as a part of the Warfighter Support Reach-Back Fusion Cell and serve as analytical advisors on an intelligence analytical team comprised of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of the AFSFC analytical requirements
- Responsible for researching, developing, and presenting intelligence products at the operational and strategic levels for senior government leadership and deployers to include counterterrorism, HUMINT, SIGINT, counterintelligence, Combatant Commands and Major Command issues, HUMINT, political / military analysis and support to targeting
- Additional work requirements may include SCIF and JWICs access and some travel may be required to other agencies to courier TS documents between SCIFs
- Analysis includes aspects of cultural, religious, political, geopolitical, military/social/ behavioral science and perspectives on governance and development
- Compile results in documentation, recommendations, briefings, reports, and other products to assist in the resolution of difficult and complex problems
- Compare data, identify discrepancies, and flag suspect findings
- Create and deliver intelligence briefings from real deployments and theater threat briefings
- Maintain Intelligence Preparation of the Environment focused threat folders, as required/requested
- Provide exercise objectives for Opposing Forces (OPFOR), replicating enemy tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) during field training and tabletop exercises
- Identify sources for intelligence data and incorporate them into the data stream
- Advise how to improve data, conclusions, processes, and training courses
- Conduct post exercise/training interviews/surveys and provide trends and analysis on exercise threat objectives and opposing forces effectiveness and/or ineffectiveness during Field Training Exercises (FTXs)
- Analyze reporting, data basing, and dissemination of Combatant Command and Major Command measures of stability which includes security, governance, and development - Human Terrain Analysis
- Prepare provincial and district assessments and Campaign and Mission Analysis briefings and annexes, High Value Individual Targeting products, Extremist and Regional Threat Network Nodal Analysis
- Prepare Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Assessment Metrics which include daily IMINT, SIGINT and HUMINT products to gauge the effectiveness of collection operations; 24/7 Indications & Warning activities and operations; and all-source exploitation of documents and media from detainees
- Research, develop, present, and publish all-source intelligence products at the tactical, operational, and strategic level related to Military actions, insurgent activities, economic and political activities, and threats to regional stability as part of an overall analytical team
- Assist with the analysis and production of various intelligence products and supply analytical support for senior military leaders
- Attend meetings and conduct comprehensive research on complex topics independently or as a part of a larger analytical effort focusing on current events and long-term trends that could influence the Government's mission
- Responsible for all-source intelligence analysis related to counterterrorism, HUMINT, SIGINT, counterintelligence, Combatant Command and Major Command region al issues, political/military analysis, and support to targeting
- Provide weekly fusion reports no later than 0830 hours to senior leader(s)
- All analysts are considered key personnel positions
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Junior Intelligence Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Candidate is required to have as a minimum a High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Contractor is required to have a minimum of 5 years analytical experience as a general military intelligence, CI/HUMINT or Counter-terrorism Analyst on an Intelligence Analytical team of military and/or civilian analysts within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required
- Demonstrated experience in the following analytical areas: Middle East, Southwest Asia, and Northern Africa regional analysis, Geo-Political analysis, Intelligence Collections, and CI/HUMINT analysis
- Possess strong briefing skills and be capable of effectively directing subordinate analysts in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments
- Proficient in utilizing basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development
