Job Title: Marvac Production Supervisor

Location: Milwaukee, WI
Shift: 2nd shift M-F 1pm-9pm
Pay: $25-28/hr
The Production Supervisor supervises all shift employees and complies with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards. Acts as liaison, representing the Team in general interfacing with the rest of the organization. Reviews daily reports to set up production staff to facilitate timely shipments. Works closely with staff on a daily basis solving problems on the work floor.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervises all personnel and operations on the shift.
- Implementation of changes in orders to increase production flow and quality.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
- Reports any process and equipment problems.
- Trains, upgrades, evaluates, and reviews employees.
- Organizes work for smooth operations.
- Ensures that established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed.
- Verifies correct identification, inventory, and warehousing of products.
- Supervises department job orders and verifies that paperwork is correctly signed.
- Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area and meeting production quality and quantity standards on the shift.
- Responsible for all production, tooling issues, and troubleshooting problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of machines, standard test equipment, and plant processes.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly speak and listen.
- Frequently sit, stand, walk, and use hands.
- Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
