The Bourns College of Engineering is hiring multiple Graduate Student Affairs Officers to join our team. These positions are critical in supporting our mission to enhance the academic experience for our graduate students and faculty. If you're passionate about student success and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you! What Will You Do? As a Graduate Student Affairs Officer, you will: Advise and Support Students: Guide students on academic progress, assist with degree requirements, and provide orientation sessions. Manage Recruitment and Admissions: Evaluate applications, conduct outreach, and make recommendations to the Graduate Admissions Committee. Coordinate Events: Organize orientations, recruitment events, and colloquium events. Collaborate on Financial Aid: Work with graduate advisors and financial staff on fellowships, grants, and employment packages. Develop Program Resources: Update student handbooks, create marketing materials, and maintain the department's website. Why Join Us? The full salary range for the Graduate Student Affairs Officer 2 is $24.71 - $41.67 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. |
