Job Description

OVERVIEW/SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the Plant Operations of the Renton facility (Safety, Service, Quality, Cost and Productivity); and includes the planning and on-time execution of the production schedule, achieving Performance KPIs and Targets, ensuring adherence to company policies, addressing challenges affecting improved and sustained performance initiatives in all key areas, assigning resources as needed, as well as reporting performance and relevant issues into the daily integration meetings.

The Production Supervisor champions the problem solving and continuous improvement process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Accountable for safety, quality, and productivity KPI's in their area.

* The Production Supervisor will partner with leadership to share joint accountability for improving and sustaining autonomous and preventative maintenance by the operators

* Review Daily Performance.

* Manage all aspects of the Performance Management System as they relate to PESC

* Create the daily plan based on the output of the daily review, dispatch lists, and daily schedule meetings.

* Support problem solving activities related to safety, quality, service and performance on the shop floor.

* When required, elevate problems to senior management.

* Ensure that teams are completing routine assessments on team effectiveness.

* Ensure that all associates are adhering to company policy and procedures.

* Responsible for administering disciplinary action, in conjunction with appropriate levels of management and HR.

* Assist in developing Operational processes and KPIs.

* Provide support for all continuous improvement efforts which include implementation of new standards, procedures, and improvements.

* Accountable for execution of production schedule.

* Assists with Pay for Performance tracking and communication.

Salary Range for this position is $80,300.00 to $120,392.00

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree required - technical degree preferred

* 5 years manufacturing experience

* Machining experience strongly preferred

* Green Belt Certification preferred

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

* Able to work both independently and within a team, generating results with general/minimal guidance from management

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with professional presentation and negotiation skills

* Must be flexible, innovative and comfortable in setting own priorities

* Polished presentation, business acumen and facilitation skills

* Good understanding of lean manufacturing principles

* Experience with high volume operations

* Strong organization and planning skills

* Change Agent Experience
