General Description: Reporting to the Construction Technology Manager (CTM), the Construction Technology Specialist (CTS) will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our construction sites' technologies. The specialist will provide technology support to job site leadership and personnel. The CTS will be responsible for the maintenance, support, and improvement of field technologies support such as cloud storage, field iPad, Navis Models accessibility, Bluebeam, and other construction-specific applications. The CTS should have skills in the successful execution of technical enhancements and/or improvements. The CTS should have skills in application configuration and integration. These skills will be utilized to demonstrate value through prototypes, documents, and presentations. Supervises: None Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Test, maintain, and deploy corporate field software updates as necessary.
- Assess and identify technological needs at construction sites.
- Implement and manage technology solutions.
- Provide support and training on new technologies.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments for technology integration.
- Stay updated with emerging construction technologies.
- Troubleshoot technology-related issues.
- Develop documentation for technology usage.
- Collaborate with training development teams to create and maintain new training material content.
- Possess the ability to turn concepts into workable solutions for the organization.
- Successfully work with the operations team to develop best-practice solutions for internal stakeholders.
- Participate in the evaluation of existing applications to reconfigure, update, and add new features to achieve 'constant improvement' ideology.
- Perform configuration and integration testing in beta environments with select user groups.
- Maintain on-going project status and documentation.
- Assist in technical document development to accurately represent application design and configuration.
- Willing to travel to different locations to conduct training and support as needed.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor and/or ACCO management.
Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):
- Bachelor degree or 5 years of experience within the industry.
- 3 years of comparable experience with estimating, project management, bid tracking or similar software.
- Willingness to learn and master new application platforms as required.
- Strong data analysis, design and application testing skills.
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidential information.
- Operate in a startup fashion for emerging technologies that impact the construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in a technology role within construction.
- Understanding of construction processes and technology needs.
- Ability to train and support non-technical staff.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of construction management software.

Hours: This is a non-exempt position from Monday through Friday. Work hours begin and end between 6:30 am and 3:30 pm with one-hour break for lunch and two rest breaks. Eight hours per day is required and other occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs. Hybrid working schedules align with current company policy and are arranged between the employee and manager. Travel: 50 - 80% of the time to and from the primary office to regional branch offices. Competitive Wages: $37.73 to $45.67 per hour.
