Overview: S4 Inc. employees selected for this position will be supporting USSTRATCOM JEMSOC missions in order to provide the JEMSOC Director with Planning, Analysis, Spectrum Management, and Intelligence support. In addition, S4 employees will support Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) for JCER to accomplish Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) readiness evaluations in order to accredit each Service/United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Manager / Project Manager to oversee the maintenance and logistical operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of relevant experience and a proven track record in managing maintenance schedules, cost databases, and logistical requirements. The Facility Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of multiple buildings and their surrounding areas, maintaining high standards of upkeep, and executing evaluation planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Logistical Management:
Manage maintenance schedules, cost databases, and logistical requirements for facilities.
Oversee daily activities, evaluation planning, and execution related to facility management.
Handle routine upkeep and maintenance for multiple buildings and their surrounding areas.
Make minor repairs prior to submitting work orders and assist in the completion of self-help projects.
Manage key control and conduct facility inspections.
Project Management:
Utilize project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project) to schedule and oversee facility maintenance projects.
Develop and implement repeatable, efficient processes for facilities maintenance.
Ensure the timely implementation of technical, financial, and logistical solutions as specified in task orders.
Prepare and submit reports to leadership on risks, issues, and concerns related to facility management.
Ensure quality products and services are delivered consistently.
Serve as the energy and water conservation monitor for each facility.
Advocate for each facility's future needs in terms of conservation and sustainability.
Demonstrate competent writing and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with leadership and team members.
Disseminate guidance based on the leadership strategy to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Required Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience in facilities management.
Proven experience in managing maintenance schedules, cost databases, and logistical requirements.
Experience in routine upkeep and maintenance for multiple buildings and their surrounding areas, including minor repairs, self-help projects, key control, and inspections.
Desired Experience:
Competent writing and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software (Microsoft Project or similar).
Experience in developing repeatable, efficient processes for facilities maintenance.
