RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage and Execute the Financial planning process at the location, supporting the Operations team and Regional Controller with reports and analysis, focus on P&L, Working Capital and Operating Cashflow.
- Coordinate daily/weekly reports and support the Weekly Financial Results meetings with Local Leadership.
- Act as Internal Controls/Auditor at the location, ensuring Policy and Compliance are being instructed and followed.
- Responsible for Operations metrics accuracy and alignment with Financial Objectives (KPIs, Standard Cost, Business Cases and Launches, SIOP, Inventory Management, etc.) supporting the Plant Manager and the staff team with daily activities.
- Full support to Accounting activities (closing, BS analysis, AP/AR recon), Regional FP&A (Forecast, Budget, Margin Analysis), Commercial Finance (Business Cases, Capex, ENCs), as well as Local and Corporate areas, Audits and Governmental requirements.
- Responsible for the FP&A and Costs area
- Control of Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports with the variance analysis (plan x actual)
- Coordinate the Material Standard Cost calculation and its monthly variances (PPV and MUV)
- Control the Transportation cost for Direct Material (Freight and Customs Duties), Indirect Material and Premium/Expedites
- Support Revenue/Demand analysis, Capacity planning, daily production, and efficiency by program
- Daily expense control by area
- Full support to all areas (Local and Corporate), Audit and Governmental requirements
- Responsible for any other tasks assigned by the Regional Controller or other members of management.
- Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor
ACCOUNTABILITY AND AUTHORITY LEVEL:
- Accountable for Adherence to the Zero Tolerance policy and practice of refusing to tolerate or allow behavior defined by Tenneco as unacceptable in terms of safety (e.g. "unsafe behavior" meaning behavior that could lead to occupational injury or illness to a plant employee, contractor or visitor).
- Accountable for complying with Environmental Health & Safety Rules and Regulations.
- Must be able to understand what hazards are associated with his/her position and how to minimize them. All accidents/injuries no matter how slight must be reported to any member of management, and/or Environmental Health & Safety Manager as soon as possible. Will be required to wear required personal protective equipment.
- Accountable for abiding by the El Paso's EH&S policy endorsed by the local management, comply with the legal and other requirements and operational controls established under its EHSMS
- AUTHORITY to Stop and shutdown unsafe machine operation; unsafe behaviors; and unsafe conditions. This includes but not limited to any activity that does not conform to the EHS policy or may injure Tenneco Team Members, visitors, contractors.
- Will work towards achieving established objectives, targets, and conform to procedures consistent with the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Other miscellaneous duties as business needs dictate or assigned by the corporate EHS officials.

EDUCATION:
|
BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN BUSINESS, ACCOUNTING, ECONOMICS, OR SIMILAR
|
EXPERIENCE:
|
Minimum Experience and Competencies required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance Leadership roles in a MFG Plant.SOX / USGAAP / MXGAAP knowledge
- Excel, Power Point, SAP, One Stream/Hyperion
- Costing activities background (Std Cost, BOM, Material Variances, absorption)
- P&L and BS expertise (preparation and analysis)
- Strong knowledge in manufacturing processes, ideally in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Operations, Business Case a plus
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
