Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri, day shift, weekend rotation and call requirement Reporting to the Social Work Manager for Inpatient Medicine/Surgery/Addiction/ED, the Social Work Supervisor for the Inpatient Addiction Recovery Program (ARP) is responsible for the daily operations of clinical Social Work activities including own patient assignments, patient/family care issues, and supervision of inpatient ARP Social Work, training, and mentoring. There is accountability for ensuring efficient and professional Social Work services for patients and families that are designed to promote and enhance their physical and psychosocial functioning with attention to the social and emotional impact of addiction, illness and disability. Monitors efficient utilization of healthcare resources, readmissions, and LOS issues. Other duties as assigned (Social Work quality improvement projects, participation on hospital wide committees as designated by Social Work Manager and hospital leadership i.e., Acute Care Plans, Readmission Studies, and Patient Safety).
