Job Number: 24-12373 Job Summary: The Provider Enrollment Specialist processes, monitors and maintains the provider enrollment and re-enrollment process in a timely and compliant manner, in accordance with department procedures, contracted commercial and government payors under the supervision of the Credentialing Coordinator. The specialist obtains, reviews, and submits enrollment applications with supporting documentation to enroll providers and maintain their enrollment. The specialist will communicate with internal and external customers, ensuring accuracy of provider applications and creating efficiency in the enrollment process. The specialist will assist with initial credentialing and recredentialing of providers as well as licenses and other time limited documents renewals, and information updates including terminations. Assists with problem identification and timely resolution of provider enrollment issues with Medicaid, Medicare, behavioral health plan provider representatives, employees, contractors, and other internal departmental staff to ensure timely initial and on-going enrollment. Maintain Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) and/or assist providers with CAQH as needed to keep information and attestations updated. Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.
