Your Role With Us: As a Pharmacy Technician, your desire to provide friendly, timely and accurate service to those we serve, will help us go that extra mile for our valued customers and will members of our healthcare team to perform duties in an effective manner.Core Functions:Fills and label bags according to physicians'/computer generated label.Initiates deliveries of all medications and IV's as needed.Accurately stock DEA Controlled Substances and non-controlled medications into Omnicell dispensing machines.Routinely assist the pharmacist in the admixture of IV piggybacks, large volume solutions and irrigations .Assist customers in person and/or by phone and refers inquiries to the pharmacist.Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock.Organizes medications and coordinates with pharmacist(s) for patient consultation.Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients or departments.Maintains records by recording and filing physicians' orders and prescriptions.
