What you'll be doing...Technology and Product Development is seeking to fulfill a position of an Associate Director in Product Engineering who will lead our existing dynamic team of Video Infrastructure Engineers. This person will provide a vision to the team that delivers the quality of service Verizon customers have come to expect from their TV service. This person will also support Verizon in delivering new and improved services in an ever-changing world of home video entertainment. This role will lead the team to complete the transition from QAM to Video over IP for our Fios TV customers. This role requires excellent communication skills to manage the team and collaborate with other teams working on the transition project. Knowledge of digital video technologies, digital ad insertion, and over-the-top IP video streaming technologies is essential. Understanding cable broadcast TV requirements, regulations, and compliances is preferred. Experience in designing scalable and resilient solutions is also preferred. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $152,000.00 and $282,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. |
