Alternative Response to Crisis Case Worker/Clinician

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Alternative Response to Crisis (ARC) Team! This role is part of our collaboration with the City of Cincinnati's Emergency Communications Center, supporting individuals in low-level crisis situations where a behavioral health or social service response is more effective than traditional emergency interventions. This role would co-respond with another ARC staff to respond to calls from dispatch or at the request of the city.

We're seeking either a Care Manager or a Clinician to join the team. The ideal candidate will help provide crucial support and services to clients in low-level crisis situations.

Position Summary -

  • ARC Care Manager
    • Role: As an ARC Care Manager, you'll work with community partners to assist clients with behavioral health and social service needs. This role requires strong communication skills and quick rapport-building.
    • Qualifications: BA/MA in Human Services or 3+ years of mental health experience.
  • ARC Clinician
    • Role: As an ARC Clinician, you'll provide de-escalation and clinical interventions in low-level crisis situations, working alongside other GCB team members or medics from the Cincinnati Fire Department. This role requires independent clinical decision-making, rapport-building, and strong communication skills.
    • Qualifications: LSW, SWT, LISW, LPC, CT, or LPCC.

Shift: 11am - 7pm, Monday through Friday (no weekends)
