Job Objective:
Manages the daily operations for workover rigs and well intervention equipment including but not limited to service coiled tubing, slickline, eline, pumps, well testing, stimulation operations, etc. The Wells Foreman is responsible and accountable for the execution of all well work operations with a focus on personal safety, regulatory compliance and operational integrity. The goal of well work operations is to execute work per Asset Team Operations Engineering requirements while meeting AFE time and cost estimates.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Support Well Site Supervisors in executing safe and efficient well work operations.
- Utilize industry best practices to ensure quality and integrity of well intervention activities.
- Accurate and timely documentation of daily operations and costs in all required reports.
- Utilize leadership and operational skills to improve operational performance and lower costs.
- Understand and utilize Stop Work Authority when necessary and support Well Site Supervisors and contractors to do the same.
- Hold service companies and crews accountable to a high level of performance.
- Interface with agents of regulating agencies and other visitors on location in a professional manner.
- Keep office-based Operations Team informed on daily operations.
- Support Wellsite Supervisors in developing detailed Plan of the Day to communicate future operations to Onsite Team.
- Mentor Wellsite Supervisors, Operations Engineers interns and work crews to improve operational performance and business understanding.
- Utilize Hilcorp supplied equipment and materials in a responsible manner.
- Work closely with Operations Engineer to improve Well Programs and document "Lessons Learned".
- Maintain PE Manual with best practices and "Lessons Learned".
- On site presence during critical operations or emergencies associated with well work, etc.
- Report all accidents, incidents and spills in an accurate and timely manner.
- Work with other Hilcorp employees and Teams in a professional and collaborative manner.

- Supports company vision and mission.
- Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
- Negotiates contracts with service companies
Other Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
- Assists with special projects, such as rig modifications or mobilizations as required.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years minimum experience in onsite direction of well intervention and work over operations.
- Ability to plan and direct execution of daily wellwork operations.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner.
- Self-starter with proven leadership skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure and dedicated to developing workforce.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc).
- Ability to work in Arctic conditions.
- Ability to work a 14/14 work shift.
- Has worked in another asset other than Prudhoe Bay
- Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
- Preferred: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Education Requirements:
- Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- IADC Well Control Certification
